National Jr. Honor Society

Qualifications

To qualify for membership in the Westview Middle School NJHS, a student must meet the following criteria:

1. Be an 8th grade student with an overall GPA of 94% or higher at the end of their 7th grade year
2. Be a 7th grade student with an overall GPA of 94% or higher at the end of their 6th grade year AND be enrolled in Algebra I
3. Submit a completed application to the sponsor by the deadline
4. Pass the selection committee that reviews applications based on the 5 qualities
5. Submit 2 teacher recommendation forms

Membership runs for 1 year. 7th grade students are reevaluated for membership as an 8th grader.
