Cheer Guidelines

As cheerleaders for the school, the team will often be asked to go and perform at events and other schools. The team behavior needs to always be exemplary. There is a zero tolerance policy for the following –

· Fighting

· Graffiti

· Disrespectful behavior towards staff

· Disrespectful behavior towards other team members

· Social media postings with any sort of uniform or school related clothing in an inappropriate manner

Cheerleading is also a UIL sport which means that we fall according to the pass to play guidelines. If a cheerleader is not passing classes at the appropriate grading period, she will be suspended until the next grading period. Two grading periods without passing, will result in immediate and permanent suspension from the team.
