Band
The Westview Middle School Band is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. The bands that comprise the WMS Band are the Beginner Band which is made up of students who are just learning how to play their instruments, the Concert Band, which competes in the UIL Sub Non-varsity category, the Symphonic Band which competes in the UIL Non-varsity category and the Wind Ensemble which competes in the UIL Varsity category. The Wildcat Band performs throughout the year for concerts, football games, festivals, and U.I.L. Contests. Its members also get a chance to compete as individuals in the Solo and Ensemble and District Band competitions.
